Warning Labels
& Safety Signs
Compliance-grade safety and hazard warning labels to ISO 3864, ISO 7010, ANSI Z535, and GHS/CLP standards — printed on polyester, polyimide, retroreflective, and photoluminescent substrates with permanent and high-tack adhesive systems — engineered for machinery guarding panels, electrical cabinets, chemical containers, pressure vessels, construction equipment, and process plant across industrial, OEM, and export applications.

A warning label that fades, peels, or discolours is a compliance liability, not just an aesthetic problem.
Machinery directive and chemical safety regulations require that hazard communication remain legible for the service life of the equipment or container. A signal colour that has shifted outside ISO 3864 tolerance, a pictogram obscured by surface chemistry, or a label that has delaminated from a vibrating panel — each constitutes non-compliance at audit, and more critically, each removes the hazard communication the label was placed there to provide. Substrate and adhesive specification is a safety engineering decision.
Colour accuracy at signal-word level is a measurable, documentable specification.
ISO 3864-1 and ANSI Z535.1 define precise CIE chromaticity coordinates and luminance factors for Safety Red, Safety Yellow, Safety Orange, Safety Green, and Safety Blue. A label printed to these coordinates recognises faster, communicates consistently across a mixed fleet or facility, and passes objective colour measurement at incoming inspection. We profile each production run against standard colour targets and can supply measurement data with the batch.
ISO 7010 and GHS give you a single pictogram language across every market you export into.
ISO 7010 harmonised safety symbols are recognised across the EU, India, and most international markets without translation — the correct choice for export machinery, multi-country facilities, and OEM equipment supplied into multiple regions. GHS pictograms under CLP Regulation and IS 15601 are mandatory for chemical substance and mixture labelling. Using the correct, current revision of each standard in the correct combination is what we verify before production, not after dispatch.
ANSI Z535 Signal Words
The Right Signal Word for the Hazard
ANSI Z535.4 defines four signal words, each tied to a specific severity level and a mandatory colour. Misassigning a signal word — marking an imminently lethal hazard as CAUTION, or over-escalating a minor risk to DANGER — degrades the entire hazard communication system on the equipment. We review signal word selection against the hazard description before production.
Imminent hazard — serious injury or death will result if not avoided.
ANSI Z535.4 / GHS
Potential hazard — serious injury or death could result if not avoided.
ANSI Z535.4 / GHS
Potential hazard — minor or moderate injury may result if not avoided.
ANSI Z535.4
Non-hazard information — property damage or operational instruction.

Compliance Standards
ISO 3864 vs ANSI Z535 vs GHS
Each standard governs a different scope, market, and hazard communication context. Many applications require compliance with more than one — machinery exported to the US requires ANSI Z535; chemical containers in any market require GHS; EU and India machinery installations require ISO 3864 / ISO 7010. Tell us your market and application — we'll identify the correct standard combination.

ISO 3864, ANSI Z535 & GHS — Signal Colour Held to ΔE < 1.5
Safety labels are legally and functionally dependent on colour accuracy. ISO 3864 and ANSI Z535 define precise signal colour coordinates for Safety Red, Safety Yellow, Safety Orange, Safety Green, and Safety Blue — deviations reduce recognition speed and can constitute non-compliance with applicable machinery or chemical safety regulations. Every production run colour-profiled and verified against standard targets before dispatch. Not a best-effort match — a measured, documented one.
ISO 7010 Pictogram Library — Full Coverage, Any Configuration
Complete ISO 7010 harmonised safety symbol library — prohibition, warning, mandatory action, emergency, and fire safety categories — available as standalone label or combined with signal word, supplementary text, and border in any layout to IS, ISO, or ANSI format. GHS pictograms for chemical hazard labelling to CLP Regulation and IS 15601 requirements. Custom pictogram artwork also accepted and reproduced to the same colour and registration standard.
Retroreflective & Photoluminescent for Low-Visibility Environments
Retroreflective sheeting to SOLAS / IMO standards for marine, port, and low-light industrial environments — visible under vehicle headlights and torch illumination at the distances required by applicable regulations. Photoluminescent (glow-in-dark) film for emergency exit, escape route, fire equipment, and muster point marking where power failure requires non-electrical wayfinding. Both supplied with full conformance documentation.
High-Temperature & Chemical-Resistant Grades for Process Plant
Polyimide face stock rated to continuous +150°C for boiler houses, exhaust systems, autoclave chambers, and motor housings where standard PET warning labels delaminate, discolour, or lose legibility within a service interval. PET grades with 168-hour chemical soak resistance for chemical plant, fertiliser handling, and water treatment environments where direct contact with process fluids is a daily operating condition.
