Our promise to OEM buyers
Changing supplier should not cost you a rupee in tooling.
Monitron does not charge tooling costs on pilot orders. Here is why we do it, and exactly how it works.
Why we do this
Most OEM engineers and buyers are not unhappy to leave a supplier because the new one is hard to find. They stay because switching is painful: new tooling budgets to get approved, upfront cost with no proof of quality, and a risk that lands on the person who made the decision.
We would rather remove that friction than ask you to take a leap of faith. When tooling is not a line on your approval sheet, trying Monitron stops being a budgeting decision and becomes a simple one: look at the sample, judge the work.
We are confident in what we make. A pilot order lets us prove it on your part, in your specification, before you commit anything larger. If we earn the next order, it is because the parts were right, not because you were locked in by a tooling invoice.
What this means for you
- No tooling line to get approved, negotiated or written off.
- You judge a real sample before any payment is made.
- A low-risk way to qualify a second source or replace an existing one.
- Clear, short terms: pilot order, against PO, 100% advance after sample approval.
How it works
Share your requirement
Send drawings, artwork or specs. We review and quote the pilot order.
Sample made, tooling on us
We build the sample and carry the tooling cost. You are not billed for it.
You approve the sample
Check fit, feel, colour and function. Nothing is committed until you are satisfied.
Place the pilot PO, pay 100% advance
After sample approval, issue a PO for the pilot order and pay the order value in advance.
Pilot delivered
We manufacture and dispatch. If the pilot goes well, you have a new supplier with no switching cost.
